Vishnu: The Preserver of the Universe

In Hindu mythology, Vishnu is one of the most important and revered gods. He is known as the Preserver, responsible for maintaining balance and harmony in the universe.

Vishnu is part of the Trimurti, the divine trinity that includes Brahma the creator and Shiva the destroyer.

According to Hindu belief, whenever the world falls into chaos or evil becomes too powerful, Vishnu descends to Earth in different forms known as avatars.

Some of his most famous avatars include Rama, the hero of the Ramayana, and Krishna, one of the most beloved figures in Hindu tradition.

Each avatar appears during a time of crisis to restore balance and defeat destructive forces.

Vishnu is often depicted with four arms holding sacred symbols, including a discus, a conch shell, a mace, and a lotus flower.

These symbols represent cosmic order, divine sound, strength, and spiritual purity.
